Haida Eagle, GHUUT

The Haida social order equates the Eagle and the Raven meaning "Two Halves". To tell them apart, the eagle has a shorter beak than the raven and is curved downward.

The Canadian Northwest Coast First Nation symbolizes copper, such as the color of salmon, as wealth, power and prestige.
